Football
Player Thanks Community As a senior player on
the high school football team here in Beaver Dam, I would like to thank the
community for all of the support that it has shown these last three weeks of
the season. It was nice to be able
to play at home on our own field this year and have a home crowd. We had a good team this
year with a lot of hard working players. We broke records and
made history for our school. When we were told we
wouldn’t win, we did. We were told we
wouldn’t get a field, but we got it. With the help of the
community we achieved what was believed to be the impossible. The truth is in all
actuality, we couldn’t have done it without all of you. And with that, I would
like to say on behalf of the football team, and especially the senior
players: Jovi, Trevor, John, Corey, Josh (Turtle), Bracken, Raul, Patrick,
and myself, thank you for an unforgettable season. Also, thank you to
Coach Williams and Coach Hartman for the gassers and forties; you guys
really know what it takes to make a winning team. Best of luck next year,
D-Backs. And don’t forget,
“Lead, Follow, or Get Out Of The Way”. -Stuart
